What will I get in my room?
A comfy bed, a bed side unit, plenty of shelves, a huge notice board, wardrobe and a large desk for you to study at and a desk chair for you to sit back in! It’s a blank canvas so you can make our place your place with a few personal touches. We have single and double bedrooms available.
Every bedroom has a fitted en-suite with a shower, wash basin, toilet and mirror so there will be no fighting for the shower in the morning! Not forgetting the all important free super fast fibre optic broadband with optional upgrades.

What is the difference between the room types?
At Storthes Hall Park we have a variety of room types to suit all needs and budgets. We have four room types available; standard ensuite, standard 'plus' ensuite, premium ensuite and a double ensuite room (sharing or single occupancy).
The standard ensuite is the most popular of the room types at Storthes Hall. The standard room consists of a single room (with single bed) with ensuite shower pod, with a dining/kitchen for your communal area.
The standard 'plus' rooms (previously knows as deluxe rooms) are the same size and dimensions as the standard but they have recently been refurbished (2009) and have new stylish kitchen and dining areas. Exclusive to the standard 'plus' apartments are leather sofa 'lounge' areas with LCD television (with TV licence).
The premium ensuite is new for 2011. We only have a limited number of these bedrooms, so you'll have to be quick if you fancy one! Fully refurbished in 2011, the premium rooms have 3/4 beds, funky decor, modern furniture and smart wooden floors. You can also move your furniture around so you really can make our place your place!
The double room (sharing or single occupancy) is exactly what it says on the tin! You get a double bedroom, a double bed and lots of storage. These rooms can be booked for single occupancy, or can be booked to share with your significant other.
Disabled rooms are available on request.
Please note, premium, standard 'plus' and double rooms sharing are unable to be booked as smoking accommodation. If you wish to smoke within your room and communal area you will need to book a standard en-suite.
How big are the rooms, how many do they sleep?
On-site we have 6, 7 and 8 bed student apartments available. So if you want a room all to yourself or to share with a friend we have one that will suit you. Each apartment has a fully kitted out kitchen with a dining area and the bedrooms are off a hallway. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, wardrobe and desk. The bedrooms are completely secure and can be locked individually.

What communal facilities are there?
It's really important to us that you feel instantly at home when you move into your new place and want to make sure you meet all your new neighbours in a fun and friendly environment. So here at Storthes Hall Park we have decked the communal areas out with the latest gadgets, games, a fully stocked bar and we put on hoards of entertainment throughout the week.
You'll find a TV Lounge to kick back and enjoy with your new friends, D-Bar and club, a fully stocked vending machine to cater for your sweet tooth at all hours of the day, a fully stocked shop, on site Gym, a pool table, a pay phone to call home on and alongside 24 hour reception and security coverage there's CCTV to give you peace of mind.
